Director of Quality Assurance

We support a diverse set of clients and deliver high impact digital experiences through collaboration and innovation.About the Role:We are looking for a QA Director to lead our Quality Assurance practice. This role is responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and delivery of QA across all digital projects. The ideal candidate has strong experience in both manual and automated testing and is ready to modernize how QA is delivered at Havas CX. You will guide a team of QA professionals, define standards and frameworks, and drive the adoption of automation and scalable practices for web and mobile applications.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the leadership team to define the vision and strategy.Champion the change with our internal teams, as well as with clients.Establish and enforce quality standards, best practices, and testing processes across all projects.Oversee the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.Assess current QA processes and introduce modernized, scalable approaches with strong automation coverage.Lead the expansion and implementation of automated testing across web and mobile platforms, leveraging tools such as Selenium and Appium.Guide the creation of reusable automation frameworks, CI integrations, and tools that support fast and reliable delivery.Partner with technology, product, design, and delivery teams to ensure quality is built into every phase of the development life cycle.Ensure requirements are understood and validated and that testing outcomes are aligned with client and business expectations.Oversee QA resource planning, hiring, performance management, and career development.Track testing outcomes, coverage levels, and product quality metrics to help drive ongoing improvements.Stay current with industry trends, testing technologies, and automation tools to ensure the practice stays modern and competitive.Qualifications and Requirements:10 or more years of hands-on experience in software QA for web and mobile applications.5 or more years in leadership roles managing QA teams and driving quality strategies.Strong background in automated testing using Selenium, Appium, and modern test automation frameworks.Experience modernizing QA practices, including introducing new toolsets, building automation suites, and establishing scalable testing processes.Proven experience in agile environments with a deep understanding of SDLC.Deep understanding of accessibility testing from design through to deliveryHands on experience with API testing and HTTP debugging tools, including Charles Proxy or Burp Suite.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test frameworks, CI/CD practices, and source control.Experience working with some of the following:Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.Why Join us?We are deeply committed to investing in the professional development of our team members, providing ample opportunities to expand skills, take on diverse challenges, and contribute to high-impact projects.
