Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Junior Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team at The Elite Job. As an entry-level position, this role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing construction projects while being mentored by seasoned professionals in the industry. The Junior Construction Project Manager will assist in overseeing various aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.Support senior project managers in tracking project timelines, costs, and resources.Monitor construction progress to ensure work is completed according to plan and schedule.Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.Help prepare and review project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and contracts.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and building standards.Assist in resolving issues and challenges that arise during the construction phase.Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and proper documentation.Contribute to regular project meetings to discuss progress, potential delays, and next steps.Maintain records of project developments and prepare regular reports for senior management.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing).Basic understanding of construction processes, terminology, and materials.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus.A keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Experience:No prior professional experience is required for this entry-level role.Internship experience in construction or related fields is a plus, but not mandatory.Exposure to project management or construction sites through academic coursework or extracurricular activities is beneficial.Working Hours:Full-time position.Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.Occasional overtime or weekend hours may be required depending on project deadlines and site visits.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong organizational and time management skills to keep projects on track.Ability to analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Knowledge of basic construction safety standards and regulations.Ability to adapt and respond to project changes or issues in a professional manner.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.Willingness to learn and develop in the field of construction project management.Benefits:Competitive salary with opportunities for growth and advancement.Comprehensive health and dental benefits.Paid time off and holiday leave.Professional development opportunities, including training and certifications.Access to company-sponsored events and team-building activities.Supportive and inclusive work environment.Flexible work arrangements based on project needs.Why Join Us:At The Elite Job, we are committed to nurturing young talent and providing the tools, guidance, and opportunities to succeed in the construction industry.
