Our nonprofit client is seeking a bilingual Admin Assistant/Receptionist to join their team on a 3 month contract. This role requires you to be on site in Toronto.

Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming calls, taking messages and directing inquiries as needed.
Update information and manage documents using the internal software
Prepare various documents (ie: memos, letters, reports, etc) and complete templates and forms.
Maintain and update reports and statistical records using database/spreadsheet applications.
Manage filing systems and forward documents to the Records Department.
Act as backup for reception and other clerical positions when required
Handle mail, supplies and schedule meetings.
Provide computer and technology support to staff
Attend and take minutes at team and other meetings as required
Follow financial policies and procedures, including managing petty cash and payment requisitions

Qualifications
2 years of administrative support experience
Must be bilingual in French and English
Previous reception experience
Proven ability in keyboarding
Proficiency with MS Office and computer systems
Previous work experience within a nonprofit preferred
Ability to work independently
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the team in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated initiative, problem solving and de-escalation skills
