Executive Chef Posted on December 03, 2025 Employer: Luigi Restaurant Location: 305 Alexander Street, Vancouver, BC V6A 1C4 Work location: On site Work type: Permanent, Full-time Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Salary: $35.50 to $39.75 per hour (Negotiable) Start date: As soon as possible Overview Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff, supervise kitchen operations, create new recipes, manage event catering, and recruit staff. Requires experience managing kitchen staff and creating menus that meet quality standards. Responsibilities Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers Create new recipes Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across the restaurant Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards Recruit and hire staff Supervise sous‑chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks Qualifications Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience Who can apply for this job?
