Join to apply for the Financial Analyst role at Ontario One CallWe are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will play a key part in supporting the organization’s financial health and strategic objectives through accurate reporting and insightful analysis. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a keen analytical mindset, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful financial decisions, collaborate across departments, and help drive continuous improvement in a dynamic work environment.This position is located at the Guelph office located at 104 Cooper Drive, Guelph. Ontario One Call has a hybrid work model with staff dividing their workweek between in-office and at-home work per company policy.Month‑End Close & ReportingSupport the month‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports as well as the supporting working paper files.Ensure compliance with GAAP and NPO financial reporting standards.Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.Perform detailed variance analysis on actuals versus budget and prior periods.Provide insights and recommendations based on financial trends and performance metrics.Budgeting & ForecastingAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Collaborate with department leaders to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Monitor budget performance and identify areas for improvement.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline reporting and modeling processes.Participate in system upgrades or implementations related to financial reporting and planning.Compliance & Regulatory FilingsSupport the external audit by answering questions and gathering requested information for the auditors.Prepare and submit monthly/annual HST and WSIB filings as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
