Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Global Finance & Compliance and working closely with the finance team, executive team and management this role is responsible for providing financial analysis to support decision-making and measurement of company performance against strategic priorities in a fast-paced and agile business environment. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in our Guelph office required.What you will do:Consolidated financial and operational reportingPerform financial consolidations including complex month-end transactionsInternational subsidiary financial review and analysisIdentify and analyze relevant trends in data and present results / recommendations to managementAssist in the development and implementation of benchmarks / Key Performance indicatorsGlobal consolidated budget development / forecastingWhat you need to succeed:Bachelor’s degree and recognized accounting designation (in progress or completed)3-5 years of relevant experienceClear understanding of the principles of consolidating an international financial structureExcellent communication skillsAdvanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, nested if-statements, sumifs, etc)Experience with MS Dynamics AX and multi-language skills are an assetWhy join Semex:Learning and development opportunitiesHealth and wellness programsCompetitive salary and performance bonusGroup insurance program and pension fundWork and family balanceSocial activities and much more.At Semex, we demand the best of ourselves, our company and what we do for our customers.
