With a can-do attitude and people-first culture, we’ve grown into an industry leader, operating across Canada and the United States, spanning over 40 locations with over 600 + employees.We are currently looking for a HR Business Partner at our Edmonton corporate location.What Moves You:You are excited by the opportunity to be a champion of company culture, leveraging your expertise to drive engagement and business results.You thrive on the challenge of being a trusted partner and expert advisor, building immediate credibility with leaders and operational managers.You possess a deep commitment to fairness and wellness, acting as an employee advocate and change agent who always elevates internal equity.You seek a role where your analytical and systematic thinking directly solves complex people challenges and proactively mitigates risk.What You’ll Do:Empower managers, acting as the primary consultant for assigned business units, providing expert coaching and guidance to management on a broad spectrum of HR matters, from performance management to organizational design.Drive strategic impact while leading the development, enhancement, and operationalization of key HR programs, including workforce planning, talent management initiatives, and workplace investigations.Design and implement high-impact engagement and communication programs that directly embed the organizational culture and enhance the overall employee experience across multiple provinces/jurisdictions.Consult on and develop competitive compensation plans for new roles and promotions, and expertly guide managers through sensitive processes like progressive discipline and termination, ensuring full compliance.Supportdisability claims andconsultson return to work/accommodation agreements, as well assupportthe Workers Compensation andLeave of Absence processes.What You’ll Bring:5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a dedicated HR Business Partner or Advisor capacity.Multi-jurisdictional understanding of Canadian employment legislation and privacy laws, with experience supporting employees in multiple provinces (US experience is an asset).Demonstrated excellence in relationship management, conflict resolution, and influence, coupled with a strategic mindset and a willingness to be hands‑on.Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field, CPHR designation is considered a strong asset.What We Offer:Competitive wages and flexible benefits.Our company RRSP matching program.50% off rentals at any of our Driving Force locations.Learning and growth opportunities.Paid vacation and wellness time.We support your wellbeing through our Thrive wellness program.We ‘Celebrate Great’ through our rewards and recognition programs.The Driving Force Groups of Companies values diversity and is committed to providing equal opportunities in the workplace.
