Process Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  1. Continuous improvement of the heat & material balances of our processes
  2. Ownership of the process and in charge of process improvement and optimization
  3. Root causes analysis on process issues
  4. Providing process support for troubleshooting, optimization, and planning to production, maintenance, and quality control
  5. Records any problems related to the process or system
  6. Hold at least one daily handoff meeting with operators and team leaders
  7. Work with Engineering to design, implement plant modification
  8. Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in root Cause analysis and process engineering
  • Industry background in manufacturing preferred
  • A 'take charge' person with a Positive & Proactive attitude
  • Able and willing to spend the majority of time in the plant with the operators
  • Technical aptitude & analytical skills
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
