The MEARIE Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join our Metering Services Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our metering services and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain the quality management system to ensure compliance with Measurement Canada accreditation requirements.
- Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the wholesale metering program to ensure compliance with IESO requirements.
- Inspect, seal, and sign certificates for electricity meters.
- Monitor processes and outputs for compliance with regulatory requirements and document any non-conformances.
- Assist in the maintenance of quality documentation and records.
- Oversee the certification and maintenance of test consoles.
- Act as a liaison with customers and regulatory bodies for technical issues and reporting.
- College Diploma in Engineering Technology or Engineering Technician with C. Tech designation.
- At least 5 years' experience in a related field or knowledge of residential and wholesale metering.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Valid Class G Driver's License.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001-certified environment beneficial.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing demands.
