Quality Assurance Technologist

The MEARIE Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join our Metering Services Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our metering services and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the quality management system to ensure compliance with Measurement Canada accreditation requirements.
  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the wholesale metering program to ensure compliance with IESO requirements.
  • Inspect, seal, and sign certificates for electricity meters.
  • Monitor processes and outputs for compliance with regulatory requirements and document any non-conformances.
  • Assist in the maintenance of quality documentation and records.
  • Oversee the certification and maintenance of test consoles.
  • Act as a liaison with customers and regulatory bodies for technical issues and reporting.
Requirements:
  • College Diploma in Engineering Technology or Engineering Technician with C. Tech designation.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a related field or knowledge of residential and wholesale metering.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Valid Class G Driver's License.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001-certified environment beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing demands.
