OverviewThe Agile Project Manager applies professional principles, practices and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedules, budgets, cost and performance risks to ensure satisfied stakeholders. This role has ultimate responsibility for all assigned projects and manages customer satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring and other aspects of a project.Reporting to the Director, Business Transformation Office you will possess the following key skills that combine your leadership presence and business knowledge:QualificationsPMP certification is requiredAgile project management certification is a strong asset, or experience on Agile projectsCIP designation or insurance industry experience is considered an assetInsurance enterprise software knowledge and experience is an asset5+ years of project management experience on multiple medium to large sized projectsAdvanced experience and understanding of project management methodologies and quality assurance processes and practicesAble to plan and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Stand Ups, Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement and Story RefinementSkillful facilitation of Retrospectives and the ability to apply learningAn agent for Agile progress in our organizationExperience in coaching and developing peopleOral and written communication skillsKnowledge and skills of Microsoft Office SuiteSolid creative thinking and problem-solving skills and experience requiredPost-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent is an assetDiligent attention to detail is essential due to the nature of the workSound ethics and confidentiality with good customer service skillsAbility to multi task and prioritize is a mustStrong relationship building skills to work with multiple stakeholders across various business unitsLocation & CompensationThis is a permanent role located in Whitby, ON with an annual salary of $90,000.00 – $98,000.00 plus benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
