Ziyutec has successfully delivered hundreds of projects across Canada since its inception. Our projects cover federal government, commercial, residential, institutional, health care, life science, transportation, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. Our core purpose is to effectively and precisely use our expertise, relevant experience, and professionalism to deliver high-quality engineering services to our clients.

Due to expansion, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Richmond Hill, ON

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and clients for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Educational background, preferably in electrical engineering

  • 10 years professional experience in project management in the engineering and construction industry

  • Familiar with CEC, OBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, CSA, ULC, NEMA, TIA/EIA, IEEE, etc.

  • In-depth expertise and skills in Microsoft Project, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.

  • Experience in government projects is an asset.

  • Exceptional communication and excellent organization skills

  • Language: fluent in oral and written English
