Inventory Manager

J. Vair Jewellers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory and Service Manager to oversee inventory management and client service operations in our luxury jewellery store. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in luxury retail.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management:Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, storing, transferring, and monitoring luxury jewellery and watches.Process new inventory upon arrival, accurately describing all product features.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly and accurately.Maintain detailed records and documentation to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient stock replenishment.Service Operations:Coordinate and manage jewellery and watch repair services, ensuring timely completion and exceptional quality standards.Correspond with watch brand service centres regarding client services and repair requirements.Assist in managing the workload of our in-house watch repair workshop, ensuring accurate recording of all parts and services.Obtain service estimates for clients and provide detailed information regarding their service needs.Shipping and Receiving:Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely dispatch while adhering strictly to customs and shipment declaration regulations.Responsible for ensuring all items and service jobs are shipped promptly and accurately.Team Leadership and Collaboration:Collaborate closely with sales and store management teams to streamline inventory and service-related processes.Train and guide staff on inventory procedures, handling protocols, and service standards.Quality Assurance and Compliance:Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and industry standards related to inventory management and service quality.Continuously evaluate and improve inventory and service processes to enhance operational efficiency.Qualifications:Previous experience in inventory management or service operations, ideally within luxury retail.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.A commitment to delivering outstanding client service and maintaining high standards.Passion for Luxury timepiecesIf you have a passion for excellence and thrive in an environment that values precision and luxury, we invite you to apply.Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and enthusiasm for this role.Seniority levelSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesRetailReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at J.
