If that sounds like a challenge you want to help tackle, we want you to join our teamThe OpportunitySupply Chain has an immediate opening for a Lead, Inventory Management who will act as a key point of contact representing the Materials Management, Logistics & Warehousing (MMLW) team in working with various stakeholder groups and cross-functional working teams as well as working with other Inventory Analysts to provide support, guidance and coaching related to day-to-day tasks, activities, and initiatives.The Inventory Lead will work internally with multiple TC Energy functional areas, Supply Chain and external stakeholders with respect to inventory management – inventory additions, removals, reviews, optimization, reporting and analytics.What you’ll doKey team contact and has high subject matter expertiseSupports day-to-day management of team workloads, prioritization, productivity, issue resolutionLooks for efficiency gains and makes recommendations on process improvementsSupports new hire onboarding and technical trainingIs a team representative on cross functional teams and project activity/initiativesSupports the improvement of client knowledge, competence and capabilities related to inventory processesCoordinates team responses to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs), frequently collaborating with other teamsRepresents team and coordinates IS Demand Listing SAP enhancements and incidentsAnalyses inventory consumption, identifies trends and opportunities for optimization that will improve service levels and/or reduce carrying costs and identifies data inconsistencies and errorsMinimum Qualifications6+ year’s relevant industry related and inventory related experienceMUST have experience with SAP and inventory related SAP functionsVery high attention to detail and strong analytical skillsStrong customer service focus and effective problems solving skills with a continuous improvement mindsetExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-starter and able to work under deadlines, with strong time management and priority setting skillsPreferred QualificationsUniversity degree or diploma8+ year’s relevant industry related and inventory related experienceExperience with advanced inventory management and optimization software such as IBM MROIO, Oniqua, Llamasoft, Vanguard, etc.Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate and Power AppsDesignation or enrollment in a Supply Chain certification (SCMP, CPIM, etc.)General knowledge of the overall Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process across a variety of commodities (materials)To remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. #LI-HybridAbout our businessTC Energy is a leading energy infrastructure company in North America.
