This role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and internal controls. What You’ll Do Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple pay cycles Manage payroll changes, ROEs, and year-end activities including T4s Review and validate time and attendance data Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and CRA requirements Process payroll using Dayforce and support payroll-related accounting activities in Sage Participate in payroll system implementations or upgrades Support employees and leaders with payroll-related inquiries What You’ll Bring Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience Experience supporting both hourly and salaried payrolls Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines Experience with Dayforce and Sage is an asset Experience in hospitality, gaming, or multi-shift environments is an asset Why Join Us Red Deer Resort & Casino offers a collaborative work environment where accuracy, accountability, and service matter.
