Senior Human Resources (HR) Project Manager Raise is currently hiring Senior Human Resources (HR) Project Manager on behalf of our client, a North American leader in energy infrastructure. The goal is to expand the HR Project Management Team, creating an opportunity to work on strategically important projects in natural gas, oil, and power industries across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The primary pay rate is based on a T4 classification; we also consider applicants seeking an INC classification where applicable. Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans and manage milestones. Identify potential risks and challenges; develop and implement mitigation strategies. Maintain accurate project documentation, including charters, status reports, and evaluations. Define success criteria for projects and ensure delivery through to completion. Stakeholder Management Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements and expectations. Communicate project updates, manage expectations, and address concerns effectively. Coach, guide, and motivate stakeholders to move projects forward. Build relationships across HR to become a trusted resource in project management. Change Management Support change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and minimal business disruption. For smaller projects, use the self‑solve toolkit to create change plans that drive adoption. For larger, complex projects, partner with the internal change management team to develop and execute comprehensive adoption strategies. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Prepare and present project updates, dashboards, and performance metrics. Conduct post‑project reviews and share lessons learned. Contribute to PMO process enhancements and toolkit development. Qualifications 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience with a proven track record of leading large, complex HR projects within a PMO framework. Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Deep understanding of HR practices, policies, and regulations. Experience planning and managing projects, including defining project plans and managing milestones. Experience with Change Management processes. Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. PMI certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus. Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
