Job Title: Director of Customer Insights & MarTech Enablement

Summary:
The Director of Customer Insights will lead a highly skilled team responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This individual will be hands-on, working closely with senior leadership in marketing, product, and other departments to align strategies with the company's marketing, product, and operational goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing analytics, a strategic mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will work closely with our core data team Data Strategy & Analytics (DS&A) to foster a cohesive relationship in a hub and spoke model where DS&A manages the underlying data & Marketing owns customer insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality analytics and insights.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership in marketing, product development and delivery, sales and operations and our external Agency of Record (Gale) to understand business objectives and develop data-driven strategies.
  • Design, implement, and manage advanced analytics frameworks and marketing data models to measure marketing effectiveness, customer behavior, and ROI.
  • Lead, manage and empower the organization regarding Customer Intelligence focused on customer behavioural insights.
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilize a variety of analytical tools and methodologies to interpret data and generate actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of large datasets to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
  • Conduct thorough customer research to gain insights on our brand health, churn and customer base.
  • Lead, manage and empower the organization regarding Consumer Insights.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing analytics.
  • Lead, manage and optimize MarTech to offer optimized tech enablement for all marketing, media, customer base management tools, software, SFMC and AI.
  • Direct the set up for all A/B testing, POC IT tests, MarTech and self-serve tests.
  • Own campaign planning, reporting and analytics for all marketing acquisition & retention programs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing analytics, with a proven track record in driving management decision making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong business acumen, with an excellent understanding of marketing and sales fundamentals.
  • Experienced in sharing insights using story-telling skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with senior leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python and Power BI.
  • Working experience in utilizing predictive models and advanced analytic techniques.
  • Experienced in utilizing Google Analytics, Data Studio, Google Ad Words, Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Applied advanced statistical techniques using Python, R, or SAS in a real business application is an asset.
  • Applied use of A/B testing, Customer Segmentation, conducting primary market research, and digital marketing tools is a plus.
  • Experience working in the HVAC industry, or a related field is a plus.
