About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Insights and Research Manager to join our team at Aviva. As a founding member of our newly created Customer team, you will play a key role in bringing customer-centricity to the forefront of all business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Research Initiatives: Design and execute research studies to gather quantitative and qualitative insights, providing actionable recommendations to improve the customer and broker experience.
  • Analyze and Synthesize Data: Analyze large datasets from various sources, identifying strategic opportunities for improvement and presenting key findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop and Maintain Research Dashboards: Create and maintain monthly research dashboards to communicate core metrics to internal team members.
  • Collaborate with Business Divisions: Work closely with business divisions to ensure research questionnaires are updated to reflect changes to the business, tracking performance against targets.
  • Apply Text Analytics: Utilize text analytics to support survey findings, providing business with a lens on key drivers of customer recommendation and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with Research Vendors: Collaborate with 3rd research vendors to develop lines of questioning for qualitative/quantitative testing, ensuring deliverables and output align with key objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong Research Background: Proven experience in research, encompassing qualitative and quantitative methods, with a focus on customer insights.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to translate complex research into operational insights.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, research, or a related field, with 8-10 years of research experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong quantitative analysis skills, project management skills, and proficiency in tools such as Clarabridge Text Analytics, Tableau, and Qualtrics survey software.
