Job Description

Our client located in Saint Laurent, QC is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Senior HR Business Partner to join their team. They are looking for an individual with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, who is not only fully bilingual but also embraces digital thinking and welcomes positive changes to enhance their work environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Foster positive relationships across all levels of the organization to meet the operational requirements of your Local Area Business, deploy HR strategies effectively, and act as a catalyst for change to drive critical business initiatives while supporting leaders in navigating change management successfully.
  2. Take charge of Talent Acquisition efforts for the station, devising strategies to attract, nurture, and retain talent in alignment with the Area's business objectives.
  3. Advocate for and oversee performance and talent management processes within the Area, actively participating in talent reviews and succession planning endeavors.
  4. Conduct thorough investigations and fact-finding missions concerning employee relations issues within the station, such as instances of harassment and disciplinary matters.
  5. Collaborate closely with the Business to proactively address various issues including grievances, disability management, training, compensation, development, and employee relations.
  6. Provide comprehensive education to managers and employees on diverse HR policies, procedures, legalities, benefits, and governmental regulations.
  7. Offer coaching and guidance to leaders, aiding in their professional development and skill enhancement.
  8. Deliver training sessions for both employees and managers as needed.
  9. Ensure that HR policies align with the interests of colleagues and the company, adhering to relevant government laws and regulations such as ESA and Human Rights Code.
  10. Work collaboratively with the National HR Team to develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, or related field.
CHRP designation or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is essential.
Strong expertise in various HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, coaching and development, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
Demonstrated capability in leading the design and execution of people-centric solutions to address business needs, with a robust understanding of business operations and commercial awareness.
Proven track record of coaching business leaders and facilitating organizational change.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities in a dynamic environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines effectively.
Experience with HRIS and data analytics is considered a valuable asset.
