Job Description

Mission: CIMA+ is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support its growth objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for providing coaching to the CIMA+ leaders and management team and providing support for employees in the Ontario region in connection with all files related to the HR function. Reporting to the HR Business partner Director and working within a dynamic team made up of professionals with diverse expertise, he or she offers a positive experience in each of their actions, contributing in a concrete way to the success of CIMA+ as a whole.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Act as partner and coach for the management team with respect to all aspects of human resources management, particularly including the following:
    1. Employee engagement and retention
    2. Managing performance and performance gaps
    3. Compensation management
    4. Communication
    5. Training and development
    6. Talent acquisition
    7. Managing internal processes and policies
  2. Develop a solid business relationship with both managers and employees in order to maximize trust, engagement, and retention.
  3. Understand the stakes and challenges of HR management in Ontario, and closely work with all HR team members to implement customized and agile solutions.
  4. Identify risks and opportunities for improvement related to human resources management while supporting managers to deal with it responsibly and strategically, by supporting the application and development of their leadership.
  5. Understand the issues and challenges of assigned client groups and work closely with all members of the HR team to implement appropriate solutions.
  6. Represent the HR function and the business sector in various mandates and projects, and implement the resulting initiatives.
  7. Act as an agent of change within a context of rapid growth, in harmony with the values of CIMA+ and the organizational culture.
  8. Act as a resource person with employees for questions relating to the HR function.
  9. Remain abreast of current and applicable laws and regulations, best practices and trends in the area of human resources management.
  10. Participate jointly with the talent acquisition team in the selection and integration processes for new employees.
  11. Play an integral role in employee engagement initiatives with assigned client groups.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
10 years of experience in a strategic HRBP role.
Understanding of Ontario employment laws.
Experience in business partnerships and customer service.
Autonomous with leadership and influencing abilities.
Team spirit and collaboration skills.
Coaching and communication abilities.
Creativity and innovation in practice development.
Adaptability to changing environments.
Member of a professional order is an asset.
Knowledge of the professional services and consulting engineering sector is an asset.
