Our latest venture is ROAR, our live-fire restaurant in Tofino, BC.We’re growing our executive team—lovingly nicknamed the Care Bears because ‘Executive Team’ was, frankly, lamer—and we’re on the hunt for a VP of Marketing, Sales, and Revenue to join our fun-loving flock of rebels.This role reports to our President, Chris Campbell, and will work closely with our amazing CEO, Mandy Farmer, to translate Mandy’s vision and design into our hotels and the world. We also have a bunch of Work Perks just for you:Free nights at any of our hotels + discounts for your friends & familyLive your Best Life fund (we’ll help pay for courses that’ll make your life better, whether or not they’re related to your role with us)Employee purchase program so you can get sweet deals on everything from electronics to linensExecutive leadership development and coaching with our veteran executive coach.Free nights at the Rebel Hideaway, a cabin in Tofino BC.And MORESalary: $152,000 - $228,000What the Role is Quacked Up to BeThe VP of Marketing/Sales/Revenue will be wholly responsible for the overall marketing, revenue, and communications strategy to align the three departments responsible for our revenue generation.Your role is to fill our hotels profitably, position our brands effectively, maximize the right mix, and drive topline revenue across all revenue-generating business areas.In your first 3 monthsYou will:Spend time learning from the Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams on what is currently working and what is notDedicate a significant amount of time with your team, 1-on-1, to build trusting relationships with each of themMeet 1-on-1 with each Care Bear to better understand their roles and departmentsHave dedicated time to learn and practice our Leading with Love philosophy and begin to have a deep understanding of how to lead at Accent InnsLearn about our feedback, coaching, and mentor programs at Accent Inns and begin to use them with your teamsSpend time building relationships with your teams to better understand who they are and what they need from you as a leaderBuild connections, trust and relationships across the organizationAudit the Marketing, Sales, and Revenue systems alongside your directorsBegin to build the partnership you will have with Mandy for creative design and brandingComplete our Orientation program for new leadersLearn our brand, tone, and target audienceReview our Sales, Marketing, and Revenue metrics to learn more about our businessIn your first 12 monthsYou will:Aligned Sales, Marketing, and Revenue vision and goals and have begun executing on themBuilt out the first phase of dashboards and reporting for your teamsReviewed and adjusted the needs and team design to execute the shared vision for Sales, Marketing and RevenueWorked with each of your directors to update their training programs to align with new goals and directionUpdated our voice and tone guides and educated users on them to ensure consistency across departments and brandsRun new market research for our ICP for each brand and market segmentDeveloped key partnerships to drive our marketing reach and revenueDeveloped a new tradeshow program and strategy alongside your Director of SalesSet new targets for Sales and Marketing campaigns and activitiesWorked with Mandy and the Director of Marketing to update our strategy for each of our brandsBuilt a close partnership with Operations to ensure guest experience and marketing campaigns are alignedBuilt out the next phases of our influencer and digital marketing initiativesUpdated the current reporting program for Marketing, Sales, and Revenue at the Care Bear levelWorked with Mandy to run brainstorming sessions and support her in her creative processBuilt strong relationships with your team, the Care Bears and became a trusted person across the organizationTaken part in our Emerging Leaders capstone program pitch competition, the Care Bear CaveYou are our creative Care Bear with an eye for metrics and data. You will be a key voice in our strategic planning and ideation for future projects and initiatives for the Accent, Zed, and ROAR brands.What to expect from us?Application: We will do our best to review and respond to all applications.First Interview (60 min): You will meet with Noah Warder, our VP of People and Culture, to discuss your experience, value alignment with Accent Inns, and what you can expect in this role.Second Interview (90 min): You will meet with Noah alongside Chris (Badders) Baddeley, our Sr. Vice President, to dig into your technical experience, hospitality knowledge, how you collaborate with other departments, executive strategy, and answer questions you have about the team and organization.Third Interview (90 min): You will meet with Chris Campbell, our President, Mandy Farmer, our CEO, and Morgan Gregory, our Manager of Executive Operations, to discuss executive strategy, Care Bear expectations, the company's risk profile and financial perspective, and other topics.Project/Presentation: There will be a 4-6 hour paid take-home assignment that will be discussed after the third interview.Final Interview (120 min): This will be a panel presentation where you will present to the Care Bear team (Mandy, Chris, Noah, and Badders) on your take-home assignment.Optional Dinner: Depending on timing, schedules, and availability, there may be a final casual dinner with the Care Bear team.Offer: This is where we get to pop the champagne (or sparkling non-alcoholic apple cider) to celebrate joining our crew of Ducks ‘n Rebels #J-18808-Ljbffr
