Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team and support our Canadian and US operations with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable and customer deductions. This role will play a key part in month‑end close, reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting while actively managing customer agreements, rebates, and broker commissions. Key Responsibilities General Accounting & Month-End Record daily accounting transactions, including general ledger (GL) entries Perform month‑end close activities, including journal entries and accruals Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records Accounts Receivable (Primary Focus) Manage accounts receivable processes, including posting customer payments and deposits Investigate, dispute, and resolve customer deductions, chargebacks, and short payments Track and reconcile customer agreements, rebates, allowances, and promotional deductions Maintain accurate records of customer contracts and pricing agreements Follow up with customers and brokers regarding outstanding balances and deductions Ensure timely resolution of disputes to minimize aging and write‑offs Royalties, Commissions & Reporting Calculate and record royalties and commissions Prepare and post monthly broker commission calculations and payments Support internal reporting and provide schedules for management as required Systems & Compliance Maintain accounting records in Sage 300 Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation when required Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of accounting experience Strong experience in month‑end closing, accounts receivable, deductions management, and reconciliations CPA designation preferred Experience with Sage 300 strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication skills for working with customers, brokers, and internal teams Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, onsite environment What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience RRSP matching or Health Spending Account Stable, collaborative work environment Opportunity to take ownership of key accounting functions Job Details Job Type: Full‑time Pay: $65,000.00‑$75,000.00 per year Work Location: In person – Mississauga, ON (On site) Starts as soon as possible – 1 vacancy Equal Opportunity Employer Exclusive Brands is committed to a diverse workforce and provides equal employment opportunities for all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
