Senior Accountant Food industry company looking for an accountant to join our growing team based in Mississauga, Ontario. Job Details Company: Chef Brandz Inc. Location: Mississauga, ON Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $70,000 per year Job Description In this position, the candidate is responsible for working closely with the Director Finance to manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, journal entries, and general ledger for the food production facilities, using Quickbooks software. Main Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, Journal Entries, and general ledger. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Maintain and update records in QuickBooks efficiently and accurately. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, if applicable. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in commerce or equivalent. Minimum of 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Very strong technical skills; proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and QuickBooks. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. Passion for food or cooking is an asset.
