OverviewReporting to the Director of Marketing, the Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating brand and marketing content across all communication touchpoints to promote brand awareness, increase interest and engagement, and aid in lead generation.We are looking for someone who has a strong written communication background, with the ability to craft compelling, clear, and engaging copy that resonates with our target market.This role requires excellent storytelling skills, a keen eye for detail, and the versatility to adapt tone and style for various channels. This role is remote based and collaborates with all cross functional teams and partners to support marketing initiatives.ResponsibilitiesContent Creation: Produce high-quality, creative, impactful copy in a fast-paced environment to support our marketing strategies.Leverage approved AI tools to speed research and ideation, while delivering human-crafted content that is accurate, on brand, and outcome driven.Collaborate with senior leadership team and thought leaders to facilitate the creation of authoritative and engaging written content.Develop a variety of content, including one-pagers, infographics, ads, blogs, social media, podcasts, website, and marketing collateral with a focus on thought leadership in the B2B Retail space.Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and drive organic growth.Optimize content for LLMs to improve visibility and drive organic growth.Create content for paid digital initiatives such as LinkedIn and Google.Create and refine testimonials, client quotes, and case studies to highlight the value of our solutions.Support the graphic designer with design tasks, graphics, video formatting, presentations, internal collateral, and more.Research and work with third-party publications, agencies, partners, as needed to extend content reach and influence.Work smart by identifying opportunities to repurpose content and organize a content library to streamline future use.Content StrategyDevelop and execute a content strategy that aligns with our marketing objectives, ensuring we are resonating with our personas and thinking outside the box.Differentiate our brand from competitors by creating results-driven content that generates leads.Maintain a content calendar based on strategic initiatives, seasonality, and trends in the B2B Retail space. Manage deadlines and ensure consistent content delivery.Act as a brand advocate, ensuring that all content aligns with our brand voice and overall marketing strategy.Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, client success team, and design, to create content, project manage, and support internal and external initiatives.Identify and share relevant third-party thought leadership content that aligns with our brand and adds value to our audience.Track, measure, and report on the performance of content across our platforms to identify opportunities, optimize content, and improve engagement.QualificationsCompetencies Required : Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to deliver clear and concise information; demonstrates the ability to adapt to the audience.Detail Oriented: Able to think and articulate in very simple terms. Keen eye for detail and the ability to identify missing pieces. Organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities.Self-motivated: Identifies what needs to be done and takes action; contributes new ideas; looks for ways to add value.Agility: Able to manage multiple priorities and a complicated schedule; maintains focus and composure.Team Player: Collaborates with others; genuinely enjoys being a part of a team and shows support and interest towards co-workers.Results Focused: Demonstrates a desire for achieving results; is energized by achieving the goal.Integrity: Ethical and honest.
