Optical Sales Specialist / Receptionist Location: East York, Toronto, ON Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Compensation: $17-$20 Start Date: Immediately About Us Vision Clear Optical is a locally owned and operated optical store committed to delivering exceptional eye care and stylish eyewear to our community. We pride ourselves on our warm, professional service and personalized customer experiences. Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and sales-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Associate/Receptionist. In this dual-role position, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in assisting them with eyewear purchases and appointment scheduling. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit Assist clients in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses based on their needs and preferences Explain lens options, pricing, and promotions clearly and confidently Schedule and confirm eye exam appointments Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner Manage the front desk, including intake forms and insurance billing Keep the showroom clean, organized, and well-stocked Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks as needed Qualifications Previous retail or optical experience is an asset, but not required (training provided) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Comfort with computers and basic POS systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Availability on evenings and/or weekends is preferred What We Offer Competitive pay and performance-based incentives On-the-job training and mentorship Staff discounts on eyewear Friendly, supportive team environment Opportunities for growth in the optical field #J-18808-Ljbffr
