This role is responsible for overseeing key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring consistent service delivery across Canada.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESTeam Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a team of Strategic Account Managers across multiple regions. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer excellence within the team.Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute national account strategies to drive growth, retention, and profitability. Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value industrial clients.Client Engagement: Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients and internal teams. Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and expanding service offerings.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with operations, procurement, marketing, and technical services to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor account performance, pipeline activity, and team metrics. Report regularly on progress and strategic insights to senior leadership.Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and maintain a competitive advantage.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.7+ years of experience in strategic account management or sales within industrial distribution.3+ years of experience managing people or leading teams.Willingness to travel nationally as required.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level clients.Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.Highly motivated individual who shows initiative and is focused on achieving results.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.PHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to travel nationally as required for client meetings, strategic reviews, and team management.Secure your place in our dynamic, permanent team, where long-term growth meets everyday impact.
