OverviewOur client, a well-established group benefits consulting firm, is seeking a Group Benefits Account Manager to support and manage a portfolio of employer-sponsored benefits plans. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys client relationship management, plan administration, and working closely with advisors and carriers.This range is provided by Leadervest. Competitive compensation and benefits.Role and responsibilitiesManage a portfolio of group benefits clients across health, dental, life, disability, and wellness plansAct as the primary client contact for ongoing plan administration and service inquiriesCoordinate renewals, marketing, and plan changes with insurers and carriersPrepare renewal reports, plan summaries, and client presentationsSupport implementation of new benefit plans and onboarding of new clientsAssist with employee communications, plan booklets, and enrollment materialsLiaise with carriers on claims issues, escalations, and administrative mattersMaintain accurate client records and documentationSupport consultants and advisors with analysis, reporting, and client deliverablesQualifications5+ years of experience in group benefits administration, consulting, or brokerageStrong knowledge of group health and benefits plans in CanadaExperience working with insurers and carriersExcellent client service and relationship management skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft OfficeGBA designation or working toward it is an assetAbility to manage multiple client priorities in a deadline-driven environmentPositions and locationHybrid work model with time in a Toronto officeToronto, Ontario, CanadaSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionCustomer Service and AnalystIndustries: Insurance and Employee Benefit FundsWe’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
