Contract will be until March 31, 2025 (with possible extension) or until the next Ontario General Election.JOB SUMMARYThe New Democratic Party of Ontario requires a Training Coordinator as part of the Organization Team.Reporting to the Director of Organization, this temporary full-time position will have the primary responsibility for ensuring that Ontario NDP campaigners across the province are trained on election tools like Populus, Mobilize, CallHub, and Agnes, and that users are provided with excellent support.DUTIESWork with the Organize and Database Management Teams to provide tools training and support for activists from ridings across the province.Be the first point of contact for anyone needing help with our tools.Work with other departments to implement overall campaign organizational readiness objectives.Create support and documentation guides for our tools.Manage and organize documentation sharing with staff and volunteers through Mobilize.Host regular training sessions for volunteers, moving them through the ladder of engagement to grow their skills.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSPast experience using Populus, Agnes, CallHub, and Mobilize.Active participation on at least two past NDP campaigns.Exceptional patience and the ability to motivate, encourage, and work well with volunteers.Demonstrated experience doing individual and group training.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Excellent written skills and the ability to copy edit their own work.Demonstrated skills documenting program progress and preparing detailed reports.Ability to work with minimal oversight and prioritize their own projects.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENTThis is a full-time temporary position as per Article 5, Section 5.01.3(b), compensated as per Appendix IV of the ONDP Collective Agreement. The ONDP has an office at 2069 Lakeshore Blvd West.
