The Role The Lifecycle Marketing Manager sits on the Growth Marketing team and is responsible for owning Baselane’s communications across different mediums in the customer lifecycle journey. You will own campaign execution across several owned channels, including push notifications, SMS, in-app, email and banners. This role is collaborative and will work across Brand, Content, Sales, Product and Operations. You will have the opportunity to own Baselane’s lifecycle strategy and drive initiatives that impact core company metrics. You’ll leverage our data to inform and iterate on campaign decisions, maintain the voice of the customer in our communications, and uphold a high standard of brand quality. What You\'ll Be Doing Independently lead lifecycle marketing initiatives from definition through execution, delivering against clearly defined goals Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns using email, push notifications, SMS and in-app banners Create automated marketing workflows and nurture sequences in our lifecycle tool Braze Leverage AI to uplevel and automate work across briefings, asset development and analysis Maintain a high bar for quality, accuracy and brand consistency across all deliverables, ensuring campaigns are thoroughly QA’d and executed Create personalized experiences based on customer behaviour and segments Collaborate across the company on initiatives, whether launching new features with product teams or lead nurture strategies with sales teams Be accountable for program outcomes and goals by reporting on performance, sharing learnings and making data-driven recommendations Identify key customer touchpoints and ensure consistent, high-quality communications throughout the lifecycle Who You Are You bring 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing You have proficiency with marketing automation platforms like Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, or similar You have a proven track record of building lifecycle marketing programs quickly with a high level of polish You have a strong understanding of customer segmentation, behavioural analytics, and predictive modelling You apply a strategic mindset to translate business objectives into actionable marketing programs You gather, analyze and report on campaign data to identify opportunities for improvement You excel in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration You use data-driven decision-making to explain impact and inform what to do next You can write email copy, tweak email designs, and support at every stage of the lifecycle marketing process You have excellent organizational skills and are highly detail-oriented You are able to join us in our Toronto office 2 days a week Nice to Have Experience leveraging AI tools to scale lifecycle programs Experience in a growth-stage startup environment Familiarity with reporting tools like Sigma, Tableau, Mixpanel, Mode Technical proficiency in SQL, HTML and marketing automation languages (e.g., Liquid) Benefits & Perks Competitive compensation Equity – Ownership in what we are building High-quality medical, vision, and dental insurance Life insurance and disability coverage Generous time off Flexible working hours and location Remote working stipend to set up a home office Regular social events #J-18808-Ljbffr
