Role Description We're looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing team at Miller Levy CPA. This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and wants to play a key part in building a high-performing public practice. The Accounting Manager will oversee client engagements, review work prepared by other team members, and contribute to developing the firm’s systems and best practices. Why join Miller Levy Work closely with senior professionals and gain exposure to diverse client industries Modern tools, a collaborative environment, and an opportunity to help shape the firm's systems Real opportunities for career growth as the firm expands A culture that rewards excellence, accountability, and initiative Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their main point of contact Review Compilation and Review Engagements and related working papers prepared by staff Review corporate, personal, and trust tax returns (T1, T2, T3) Assist with special mandates, including tax planning, financial analysis, and CFO services Oversee workflow, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple engagements Provide technical guidance to junior and senior accountants Help document and improve firm processes and quality control systems Identify opportunities for efficiency, client value, and team development What we're looking for 5-8 years of experience in public practice, including review and supervisory experience Strong technical knowledge across assurance (compilations/reviews) and Canadian corporate and personal tax. You don’t need to be a tax specialist, but you must be able to review work confidently in both areas and guide staff as needed. Proven ability to manage engagements and delegate effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you can lead both clients and team members A proactive mindset and genuine interest in building an ambitious, modern accounting firm The role requires strong communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken).
