Training Specialist – BC Pension Corporation We are seeking a Training Specialist to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada. This role focuses on designing and developing engaging training programs that enhance employee performance and improve service to members and employers. You will collaborate with leaders and learning partners to assess needs, build curriculum, and measure impact across onboarding, ongoing development, and specialized programs. Hybrid Work Model This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the flexibility to work part of the time on‑campus and part of the time off‑campus, with a minimum of 40 % required in‑office each month. Salary This role offers a base pay range of CA$64,123.59 / yr – CA$64,123.59 / yr. Additional compensation is based on experience and skills. (See detailed salary range below.) Salary Range: $64,123.59 to $72,674.35 per annum. Responsibilities • Design and develop training material for a client‑facing environment. • Apply adult learning principles to create engaging, mobile‑friendly programs. • Conduct needs analysis with leaders and partners. • Build and deliver curriculum for individuals and groups. • Use M365, SharePoint, Power BI, Articulate RISE, and other tools to create content. • Analyze data to measure learning outcomes and impact. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Education, English, or a related field. Certification in adult education (e.g., Instructional Skills Workshop, Adult Continuing Education, Provincial Instructor Diploma, or equivalent). At least two years of recent experience in a client‑facing training role, including content design, delivery, and data analysis. Experience applying complex policies, rules, or legislation to develop consistent, high‑quality service training. Proficiency with M365, SharePoint, Power BI, Articulate RISE, and other computer applications. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
