Acting as a core support function to the Directors of Private Equity Investments, this role ensures essential operational tasks are executed seamlessly allowing leadership to focus on strategy and long-term growth.This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a multi-industry environment and can confidently shift between priorities across property management, logistics, technology, industrial automation, and investment operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day operational and administrative support across KAIN Group companiesCoordinate between business units to ensure smooth communication and workflowsAssist with reports, presentations, documentation, and leadership updatesTrack operational metrics, deadlines, and deliverables across concurrent projectsAdministrative & Process ManagementManage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination for DirectorsPrepare agendas, capture meeting notes, and track action itemsMaintain organized documentation for contracts, records, and proceduresHandle correspondence with professionalism and discretionSupport SOP creation and ongoing process improvementsCoordinate travel and logistics as requiredMaintain accurate records within the BrightHR systemProperty Management SupportAssist with tenant communications, lease documentation, and onboardingSupport maintenance coordination, vendor tracking, and inspectionsAssist with occupancy reporting, expense tracking, and renewalsLogistics & 3PL Operations SupportSupport client communications, quotes, contracts, and onboardingManage CRM systems for lead tracking, follow-ups, and data accuracyAssist with marketing coordination, reporting, and analyticsTechnology & Software OperationsSupport project coordination, timelines, and documentationMaintain accuracy within project management toolsCoordinate routine communications between technical teams and clientsAssist with research, market analysis, and competitive insightsAssist with work order tracking, CRM/KATS updates, and service coordinationSupport quoting, invoicing, pickups, deliveries, and client follow-upsConduct preliminary research on potential investmentsCompile financial, market, and industry dataAssist with due diligence documentation and summariesTrack investment pipelines and maintain organized deal filesBecome proficient in CRM, project management, and cloud-based systemsAssist with system implementations, data organization, and integrationsMaintain structured digital filing systemsRequirementsEducation & ExperienceUndergraduate degree (Business or related field preferred)1–3 years of experience in operations, administration, or project coordinationExperience supporting leadership or working across multiple business units is an assetCore CompetenciesStrong organizational and time-management skillsProactive, self-directed, and detail-orientedStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable managing shifting priorities in a dynamic environmentStrong problem-solving mindsetTechnology-savvy and quick to learn new platformsTechnical SkillsAdvanced Microsoft Office proficiencyCRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar preferred)Familiarity with project management toolsExperience with cloud collaboration platformsPreferred SkillsExposure to private equity, real estate, logistics, technology, or manufacturingFinancial, budgeting, or analytical experienceBilingual English/French is an assetSalary: $45,000–$55,000 annuallyDiscretionary performance bonusExtended health and dental benefitsProfessional development and mentorshipGrowth opportunities as the portfolio expandsOffice-based in Kitchener, ON with occasional travel (Mississauga, Simcoe)Monday–Friday business hours with flexibility during peak periodsHybrid option available after probationFast-paced, multi-industry exposureWhy Join KAIN Capital?Diverse Exposure: Gain experience across multiple industries including real estate, logistics, software development, and industrial automationLearning Opportunity: Work directly with experienced private equity professionals and learn the investment business from the insideCareer Growth: Clear path to advancement as portfolio grows and new investments are madeEntrepreneurial Environment: Be part of a dynamic, growth-oriented organization where your contributions directly impact successMeaningful Work: Support businesses that create real value and serve important industries across Canada and the USComplimentary in-house food and beverages are provided #J-18808-Ljbffr
