Registration Services Officer Join us as a Registration Services Officer at State Street. The role is part of the State Street Alternatives operation, a leading provider of fund accounting, administration, and risk services to alternative investment fund managers. Why this role is important to us The team you will be joining provides end‑to‑end solutions across front, middle and back office requirements of institutional investors. What You Will Be Responsible For Manage the fund of funds trade document management process, audit support and client service. Account for the day‑to‑day management of team members and assignment of activities. Review and assist staff with month‑end fund of funds trading, trade packages, audits and ad‑hoc reports. Develop and maintain strong client relationships; act as escalation point for clients. Produce KPIs for the functional team and conduct first‑level reviews. Ensure activities comply with internal standards and policies. Deliver key messages and communication; promote a collaborative environment. Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues in all locations. Assist with internal reporting activities (risk, compliance, etc.). Anticipate, monitor and report all risk and compliance issues. Act in accordance with Risk Excellence and ethical decision‑making. Perform other duties as required. Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with a focus in a related field (preferred). 4‑6 years of experience in transfer agency, fund of funds or fund accounting. Proficient email management; knowledge of private equity funds is an asset. Additional Requirements Knowledge of hedge fund products including fund of hedge funds. Exposure to hedge fund audits, fund of funds trading process, pricing, corporate actions, cash/position reconciliations, side‑pockets, and fee calculation. Knowledge of subscription and redemption documents; experience with corporate action and fee calculation. Strong understanding of transfer agency, custody and regulatory background.
