This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives on creating scroll‑stopping visuals that feel authentic, natural, and inspiring. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media and knows how to use a phone or camera to create beautiful, on‑brand content that connects with people. You’ll take creative direction and turn ideas into polished photos and video content for both organic social and paid campaigns across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Whether it’s a quick how‑to, a behind‑the‑scenes moment, a founder story, or a short documentary‑style feature, you know how to tell stories that capture attention and drive engagement. You’ll work closely with the marketing team and report to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing, collaborating to bring ideas to life in fresh and compelling ways. You’ll also pay attention to what performs best across platforms, using insights and analytics to refine your approach and continually improve your content. This role is perfect for a creator who moves fast, thinks creatively, and loves experimenting with new trends and formats while keeping everything aligned with Wildcraft’s natural, approachable style. This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days per week on‑site at our West End Toronto studio. What you will do: Capture, edit, and produce engaging photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms. Create story‑driven content that highlights our products, team, and founder, helping bring the Wildcraft story to life. Know when to pull out the camera and film, capturing authentic, everyday moments that feel real and true to the brand. Use strong hooks and storytelling techniques to create content that grabs attention in the first few seconds and keeps viewers engaged. Develop scroll‑stopping content for both organic and paid social campaigns that aligns with brand goals and performance insights. Take creative direction and bring ideas to life through both filming and editing, while maintaining Wildcraft’s warm, natural aesthetic. Design simple, on‑brand graphics and text overlays to enhance videos or support social media posts. Learn to direct people on set to capture natural, on‑brand moments that feel genuine and effortless. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and plan new creative concepts for launches, campaigns, and everyday storytelling. Monitor performance metrics to understand what resonates, then apply those learnings to improve future content. Work quickly, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. What you bring: 2+ years of experience creating social media content, with a focus on video and photo storytelling. Strong video editing skills for social media are a must, with the ability to create short‑form content that feels engaging, polished, and on‑brand. Understanding of what performs well on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including how to craft strong hooks and engaging narratives. Confidence capturing and editing content for both organic and paid campaigns from start to finish. Ability to take creative direction and turn ideas into visually compelling content that feels authentic and natural. An instinct for knowing when to capture spontaneous moments that bring warmth and personality to the brand. Familiarity with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar platforms that allow you to work efficiently. A strong sense of composition, lighting, and pacing to create cohesive, high‑quality content across platforms. Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. A collaborative attitude, openness to feedback, and a drive to keep improving through experimentation and creativity. Experience capturing and editing lifestyle photography. Familiarity with paid social platforms like Meta Ads Manager and understanding what makes ad creatives perform. An entrepreneurial mindset and curiosity to test new ideas, tools, and trends.
