Change Specialist:
On behalf of our energy client, Procom is searching for a Change Specialist for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's Edmonton office. This position also has occasional travel throughout Alberta for onsite visits and training delivery.

Change Specialist - Job Description:
This role involves leading and supporting our client's pipeline project through training, learning strategies, communication, and change management. The Change Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and execute change management plans and tactics, focusing on transformational technology and business process change.

Change Specialist - Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent application of OCM Framework methodology, processes, and tools
  • Develop and manage a change management strategy and plan for the project
  • Review and monitor progress of the change action plan with key stakeholder groups
  • Work with the business and project team to define key business outcomes and change activities
  • Complete the Day in the Life for impacted job roles (Current & Future State)
  • Complete and validate detailed stakeholder impact analysis with stakeholder areas
  • Develop and track business readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Utilize stakeholder impact analysis to identify communication requirements and develop/manage Communication Plans
  • Design and develop tailored communication materials and tactics for impacted stakeholders
  • Review and manage the knowledge transfer plan to internal support teams and service providers
  • Complete a training needs assessment to define training needs for internal and external audiences
  • Develop role-based and process-driven training materials and validate with SMEs and vendors
  • Conduct train-the-trainer and execute end-user training, set up delivery schedules
  • Evaluate training effectiveness with end users
  • Provide post go-live support to end users through the hyper-care phase

Change Specialist - Mandatory Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Adult Education, Communications, Behavioural Science, or Human Resources
  • Minimum 15 years in Change Management experience
  • Change Management Certification
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
  • Strategic thinking and strong organizational management skills
  • Ability to lead change in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with pipeline construction processes and regulatory environments

Change Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with EcoSys, Procore, Primavera P6, and/or Vintri

Change Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension.
