Air Liquide is Hiring for an Account Executive Job Description Summary The main purpose of this position consists of achieving Air Liquide Canada’s sales vision, while promoting safety, quality, and compliance with company policies. An ideal candidate will maximize the impact of his/her actions on company sales, competition, and potential customers. The Account Executive is responsible for gathering information to develop a market strategy and for managing their territory to maximize profitability. They drive new business, develop relationships to win sales, maintain and increase services to existing customers, negotiate contracts, and provide support to internal teams. Key Responsibilities Hunts for new business: Has a market development strategy and a vision of the competition’s strategy. Locates prospective customers and initiates sales relationships. Develops local markets for new applications. Searches for new areas to compete, sources leads independently. Manages a territory: Develops business plans and sales strategies for their territory. Plans and organizes activities to generate profitable growth and sustainable results. Manages a sales portfolio less than > $5M. Promotes sound management by establishing selling prices within company guidelines. Manages accounts and competition. Promotes new applications related to ALC’s products and services. Uses SalesForce to plan, schedule and report on activities with customers and leads. Develops proposals: Establishes commercial proposals and negotiates contracts, responding to customer needs. Communicates clearly and concise. Presents proposals that respond to customer’s needs. Sells: Identifies the customers’ needs and decision‑making structure, culture and goals. Obtains customer’s commitment, finds creative solutions, takes risks, and makes decisions. Collaborates with internal teams to serve the customer. Ensures customer loyalty: Develops a strategy to secure customer’s loyalty. As the primary contact between the customer and Air Liquide, the Account Executive identifies issues, communicates with all parties, and solves problems. They improve the quality of business relationships and have a long‑term perspective. Collaborates: Understands everybody’s role within the team. Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs and concerns of other team members. Learns from and builds relationships with other team members. Communicates productively with other departments. Improves Skills: Presents professionally to the customer at the internal and external level by the development of their knowledge of Air Liquide’s value, products, and services, and the processes in which they are used. Qualifications Required Qualifications Direct Sales and Relationship Building Competencies Experience and abilities in Industrial business to business transactions and negotiations with a strong focus on territorial expansion and client satisfaction Proven self starter and self motivated. Experience and/or aptitude to operate in the Google platform, Salesforce, Oracle and SAP Preferred Qualifications College diploma or bachelor’s degree would be an advantage Welding Knowledge or Experience is preferable but not mandatory Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Chemical Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
