OverviewBusiness Development Manager – North America. This role focuses on expanding Agoda’s North American network of hotel partnerships through new hotel solicitation, product positioning, negotiation and contracting. The manager will handle a robust pipeline of target hotels from initial contact to contracting and activation readiness. This is a remote position and candidates must be based in Canada.Key ResponsibilitiesExpand network of hotel partnerships by effectively positioning Agoda products and services through face-to-face meetings/in-person visits.Identify, prioritize, and onboard non-contracted hotels, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.Evaluate leads and maintain a continuous flow of client acquisition to meet monthly goals and call volumes.Reach out to customer leads primarily through cold calling and manage a robust pipeline of leads.Analyze territory/market potential and maintain status reports on progress.Develop and implement innovative solutions to unique challenges.Prepare presentations and materials tailored to audience needs.Produce regular weekly/monthly internal reports.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in any relevant field or equivalent experience.Proven track record in new client acquisition, preferably in the travel industry, with at least 3 years of experience.Highly motivated, goal-oriented and self-starter.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders.Ability to research, prepare and communicate proposals to potential and current hotel partners.Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.About AgodaAgoda is an online travel booking platform for accommodations, flights, and more.
