These roles are not just jobs; they embody the heart and soul of our purpose‑driven culture, one that is centered on cultivating happiness in daily life What We Offer A competitive salary and vacation package Health & Dental benefits program RRSP with employer match Share Ownership and Reward Program (SOAR) Employee Share Purchase Plan with company match Continuous learning and growth so you have the skillset needed to succeed and take on new challenges A welcoming culture that values diversity and differing perspectives, experiences and beliefs What You Will Be Doing Support and monitor the efficacy of all food and beverage activities within the residence to align with Aspira standards and expectations for hospitality-style dining services Responsible for overseeing all aspects of management related to dining room servers, including recruitment, orientation, supervision and performance evaluation, aimed at maintaining high productivity levels Conduct training and education sessions on hospitality-style dining service to ensure that team members are proficient in providing excellent service to residents Assist with meal service by performing server duties as needed Report supply and procurement requirements to the General Manager Manage staffing levels for dining room within the allocated budget Assist in planning and organizing external marketing events and ensure that all dining room and Who You Are Graduated from high school and completed coursework in hospitality service management, guest relations, service excellence, or a related field Brings two years of experience in fine dining, catering service or hospitality within hotels and restaurants Has a valid Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve certificate You have strong people skills that can guide, motivate and supervise a diverse team while also being able to delegate tasks effectively Can demonstrate patient, understanding, and able to connect with both residents and their families You are able to think quickly, adapt to changing situations, and resolve issues efficiently Possess effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, manage budgets and ensure the smooth operation of the department What You Need To Know Sienna Senior Living is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members and residents feel like they belong.
