Mount Carmel Home is looking for a casual employee to cover shifts in our dietary department.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities Include:

- Prepare coffee and tea, and portion desserts or salads as required.
- Advise residents' what the meal choices are, take orders, relay orders to the cook who will plate the food, then bring the food back and serve it to the residents.
- Clear tables after meals, wash dishes and ensure dining room is ready for the next meal.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining room are tidy at the end of each shift.
- Food prep as time permits

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a dietary aide is preferred.
- Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to adapt to change and remain flexible.
- Customer-oriented and friendly.
- Prioritization and time management skills required.
- Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time, and be able to squat, kneel and bend as required.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
