Embrace EdTech Group powers some of the most innovative education technology solutions in North America, focusing on enhancing college and career readiness for students across K–12 and post‑secondary institutions. The Senior Sales & Marketing Manager will lead growth and go‑to‑market efforts across Embrace Software’s EdTech portfolio in North America to drive new customer acquisition, expand relationships within higher education, K‑12, and public sector, and strengthen brand visibility. This senior, hands‑on role is responsible for both strategic planning and execution spanning direct sales, marketing campaigns, partnerships, and pipeline management. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to accelerate growth, pilot new product initiatives, and position Embrace Software as a leading HR technology partner for higher education. This role will involve professionalizing the sales function within a niche market where the company is a market leader in preferred states. The preferred candidate will have experience or be prepared to roll up their sleeves to help set up a CRM, set KPIs, improve upon an existing sales pipeline, create and execute their GTM strategy for net new and back‑to‑base sales. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to achieve annual growth targets and expand Embrace’s footprint in higher education. Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and qualification through product demonstrations, proposals, and contract close. Partner with the marketing team to design and execute digital campaigns, webinars, and conference sponsorships to increase brand awareness and lead volume. Establish and maintain strategic relationships with state systems, consortiums, and key decision‑makers within higher education institutions. Collaborate with product management on new product piloting and market feedback loops to refine positioning and pricing. Create sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards using CRM tools. Strong understanding of consultative and solution‑based sales, especially within complex RFP/RFQ environments. Represent Embrace at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of SaaS or B2B enterprise sales experience within higher education—this is a requirement. Proven success in meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas ($1M+). Strong understanding of solution selling, consultative sales, and long‑cycle enterprise procurement (RFP/RFQ) processes. Experience managing multi‑channel marketing campaigns (email, digital, events). Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills. Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with both strategic and hands‑on responsibilities. Experience working with offshore teams considered an asset.
