Enterprise Account Executive

Its flagship product, the Ubuntu Linux distribution, is widely used as the foundation for public cloud compute, data centers, and edge devices.What You’ll DoAs a Commercial Sales Executive responsible for the Chile territory, you will build and advance relationships with enterprise customers, identify new business opportunities, and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.Represent Canonical’s solutions and services in the region.Develop and execute a territory plan, prioritizing outreach and prospecting.Generate new pipeline through outreach, local marketing, and industry events.Close contracts to meet and exceed bookings targets.Manage the entire sales cycle and maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce.Collaborate with field engineers and customer success to propose solutions and identify growth opportunities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or computer science.Experience in enterprise software or technology sales planning and execution.Track record of achieving sales targets and winning new accounts.Knowledge of open‑source technology and solutions.Fluency in English; Spanish required for the Chile market.Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.Self‑discipline and motivation to succeed in a distributed team.Additional Skills Of InterestExperience with verticals such as finance, telecom, health, energy, public sector, or technology.Public speaking experience at conferences or industry events.What We OfferBase salary plus a performance‑driven commission structure.Annual compensation review and opportunities to accelerate growth.Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.Remote‑first work environment with occasional in‑person sprints.Paid holiday leave, maternity/paternity leave, and Employee Assistance Program.Priority Pass and travel upgrades for long‑haul company events.About CanonicalCanonical has been a fully distributed company since 2004.
