Location: Carrefour Laval (Laval, QC)
At MATT & NAT, our store management teams set the tone for their stores and empower their teams to deliver an exceptional experience to all our customers. We’re looking for an experienced Store Manager who will support the execution of the store strategy, operating at our high standards. Your role will be to generate profitable sales growth through all facets of your store; operations, visual presentation, and the management and development of your team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and natural leader who is driven to coach and inspire team members to achieve their individual and store objectives and perform at their highest level.You manage the operations of your store:Establish a customer-centric mindset in store to ensure the highest level of customer experience.Ensure sales targets are achieved in order to meet company objectives.Ensure the understanding and compliance of all company policies and procedures.Communicate performance, corporate strategy and relevant business operations to the team.Process POS (point of sale) purchases, exchanges, and returns of merchandise.Ensure all returns and damages are processed as per company policy.Protect your store's funds and property by conforming to and enforcing all loss prevention policies, procedures and controls, reporting any related concerns or incidents to the District Manager.Prepare and execute physical inventories, ensuring all guiding principles are followed accurately.Maintain regular and timely communication with the management team concerning all aspects of your store.Support all in-store events ensuring they lead to achievement of objectives.
You maintain the visual presentation of your store:Maintain all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.Ensure the sales floor is always adequately replenished with product and properly displayed.You manage and develop your team: Motivate your team to achieve and maintain high levels of performance and quality through consistent training, coaching and feedback.Ensure all team members complete the training requirements as per company guidelines.Actively assess the performance of the team, identifying and developing talent.You are a sales and customer service oriented individual with the ability to drive results.You display leadership qualities with the ability to coach others for enhanced performance.You possess excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.You are naturally attentive to the needs of others and enjoy helping those around you.3+ years’ experience in a management role, preferably in the fashion retail environment.Proven track record for driving sales and profit and training and developing a team.Experience in all facets of a retail store environment.Familiarity with reading and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Familiarity of the MATT & NAT brand, company values, and understanding of our vegan beliefs.Ability to move and/or lift boxes and fixtures throughout the store.Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and select holidays.We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.Dental care Store discount 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Retail management: p>Language: English (preferred) French (preferred)-
