Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and pro-active Vice President for our Civil Division to join our leadership team. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and profitability of the Civil Division. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the local civil construction industry, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing civil projects of varying size and type.Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision and operational plans for the Civil Division, aligning with the overall objectives of the company.Financial Management: Oversee the division’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring profitability and sustainability.Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient delivery of civil projects by enhancing processes, establishing best practices, and optimizing resource allocation.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, enhancing the company’s reputation and market position.Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies, promoting a culture of safety at all levels.Post Secondary Education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the construction industry, with a focus on private sector civil projects.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale civil construction projects from inception to completion.Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and RRSP match.The base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $220,000 CAD per year and represents Mainland’s hiring range for this position. p>
