Job Description As an Intermediate Process Engineer you will plan and complete work with minimal supervision, perform calculations, check engineering drawings, and help train junior staff. We foster a collaborative culture with talented colleagues. What you can expect to do here Conduct process simulations using software to optimize performance. Determine appropriate equipment sizes and prepare detailed data sheets. Calculate optimal process line sizes considering flow, pressure, and temperature. Prepare instrument data sheets detailing specifications and maintenance. Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) for material movement. Markup Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to reflect changes. Analyze process data, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements. Participate in HAZOP studies to evaluate potential hazards. Review vendor drawings for compliance with process requirements. Lead smaller projects or support larger initiatives under an Area Lead. What you’ll bring to WSP Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering. Minimum five years of process engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in gas processing plants. P.Eng license with APEGA. Strong teamwork and intermediate‑level skill development. Excellent communication and report‑writing skills. Organized approach focused on quality, schedule, and budget.
