Richmond hospital is a community academic teaching hospital. Applicants must have an interest or additional training in research and/or medical education. The hospital is over 225 beds, sees over 50,000 emergency room patients per year and runs seven acute operating rooms daily as well as a minor procedure room, a busy rehab clinic and an ambulatory procedure centre. The medical community is collegial and supportive with excellent relationships between departments as well as between community family physicians and specialists.

Richmond requires an FRCPC certified Anaesthesiologist to support the expansion of daily Operating Room time throughout the week. The hospital maintains obstetric, general surgery, ENT, orthopedic, urologic and vascular elective and emergency programs.

We are looking for interested anesthesiologist to join our group as locum with a long-term view. The locum position may potentially lead to permanent opportunities.

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

• Anesthesia Experience
• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
