We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Applied Scientist. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating machine learning models for a variety of applications, with a focus on addressing challenges related to label noise, unsupervised learning, and diffusion denoising. What You'll Do

  1. Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models for a variety of applications, with a focus on addressing challenges related to label noise, unsupervised learning, and diffusion denoising.
  2. Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in machine learning and data science, and apply these techniques to our work as appropriate.
  3. Participate in code reviews and help ensure that code quality and best practices are maintained across the team.
  4. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data science solutions are well integrated with other products and services.

What You'll Bring

  1. Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning or related field.
  3. Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
  4. Experience with unsupervised learning techniques such as autoencoders, generative models, and contrastive learning.
  5. Experience with label noise mitigation techniques, such as co-teaching or mentor-guided learning.
  6. Experience with diffusion denoising techniques.
  7. Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with popular machine learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  8. Experience with medical imaging and/or healthcare data.
  9. Strong publication record in top-tier machine learning or computer vision conferences/journals.

  13. The base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $218,000 in local currency, depending upon experience.

This role will be hybrid (3-4 days per week) based in our Vancouver office.
