Company Overview Qualicare Homecare Waterloo Region is seeking a compassionate, caring, and reliable individual to join our team as a Business Development Representative. Qualicare Home Care Waterloo Region offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families. Job Summary Reporting to the President, the Business Development Representative is responsible for driving business development by networking and connecting with healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics, and eldercare facilities to generate referrals for home care solutions. They will coordinate and manage referrals within the Waterloo Region area, ensuring consistent growth in sales leads through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating local marketing & business opportunities. Responsibilities Develop a business development plan for potential referral providers Plan and create business development opportunities Build a comprehensive referral network Follow the Qualicare referral system to promote Qualicare services Conduct a minimum of 35 in-person calls per week Establish working rapport with healthcare professionals and potential referral sources within a designated territory Identify new business opportunities and create and build proposals Manage referral accounts and meet targets with respect to business development opportunities Participate in opportunities to increase social media activity and effectiveness Qualifications Computer proficiency – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM databases Familiarity with social media platforms Has a vehicle with a valid driver’s license and car insurance Strong time management and planning skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Detail‑oriented Benefits Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Opportunity for advancement Full‑time hours Continuing education programs Making a difference in the lives of those dealing with medical illnesses and age‑related complications Commission‑based opportunities Free education and training with QPath Career Pathways Program This is a remote position.
