Senior Partner Business Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Partner Business Consultant to join our Channel Sales team. The role involves managing the relationship between Autodesk and a Platinum Partner and being responsible for developing strategies for growth and investment, as well as driving new business opportunities with and through this partner.This position reports to the Senior Manager of Channel Sales. It is remote based, with candidates ideally located in the Denver or Dallas metropolitan areas.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy to drive revenue growthCollaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to develop joint business plans, set targets/milestones, measure results, and implement effective sales and marketing strategiesUnderstands partners' business and organizational structureEnsures common vision between Autodesk and partnersWorks with partners to help identify areas of investment and supports executionConducts business reviews to evaluate performance, track, and report on key performance metrics, such as revenue generated through partnerships, partner pipelines and identify areas for improvement to drive mutual successOversees contractual requirements with partnersProvide training and enablement resources to partners to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell our products and servicesMonitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changesWork closely with internal teams, including sales, technical, marketing, customer success, and product, to align partner activities with overall company objectivesMinimum Qualifications7+ years in a customer-facing sales or services-oriented role (partner experience ideal)Experience with channel sales / partner managementStrong understanding of Go-To-Market sales initiativesExperience managing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growthKnowledge of sales and sales management processesAbility to travel up to 50% of the timeThe Ideal CandidateHaving wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.Solves complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors by taking a broad perspective to identify the best approach and innovative solutionsWorks independently, with close guidance in only the most complex or unusual situationsDistinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales. Viewed as an expert in the field. May have a leadership role.Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertiseResponsible for selling the company’s products or services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
