Account Solutions Architect, Commercial

Rogers Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) is seeking a Solutions Architect responsible for large and public sector clients. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Telecommunication Products and Services with the ability to project manage, relationship build, and organize/advance sales internally.
The candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Sales and will be an integral part of a sales team responsible for gathering customer business and technical requirements, delivering presentations, and collaborating on RFP and RFI responses.
Explain technical solutions that fit customer requirements.Aid sales team in understanding opportunity requirements and stages.Interface with other groups including Network Planning, Transport and IP Engineering, Service Delivery, and Service Assurance.- 5 years of work experience in a telecommunication service provider or IT services organization.
- Knowledge of wireless, fiber, and copper infrastructure and technology.
- Knowledge of major network connectivity topologies, equipment, and technology.
- Excellent business/technical writing and communication/presentation skills.
- Excellent skills in translating technical designs into high-level network diagrams.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Access).
- Sales experience in the datacentre industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of Server and Storage Architecture, Common Application Design, Network Access technologies, Routing and Switching technology, Network Security, Virtualization Technologies, IT Budgeting and Planning, IT service management frameworks.
- Knowledge of Name Servers, Authentication Servers, Mail Servers, Accounting servers, and Corporate Web Servers.
- Hardware skills – specifying, installations, troubleshooting, conflicts, etc.
- Working knowledge of VMware, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
- Any Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, ITIL, other IT Certification would be an asset.
- Experience in performing security breach analysis with recommended outcomes.
This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in the office three days per week. br/>• 15-minute phone screen with your recruiter, 1-hour virtual interview with Hiring Manager, 30-minute final round virtual interview with Director of the team. p>
