The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, reflecting the competitive market rates in Calgary, AB.

Job Description

We are seeking a Decarbonization Architect to lead projects focused on energy transition, working closely with the Chief Innovation Officer and Lead Engineers. This role involves conducting parametric analysis simulations on engineering architectures to identify energy-efficient and low-GHG solutions.

  • Develop performance simulations to support high-performance building design.
  • Analyze climate and energy policies affecting Canada's energy infrastructure.
  • Produce graphical representations of complex simulation data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in economics, applied science/engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience delivering building performance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with building energy modeling software, particularly IES VE.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
