Reporting to the Vice President, Professional Practice, Chief Nursing & Allied Health Executive, the Executive Director provides senior leadership and direction to the Professional Practice Chief Nursing Allied Health Officer and Clinical Learning across the organization inclusive of all aspects of operations and outcomes within the portfolio. This position integrates Professional Practice standards and accountabilities, evolving education models, and quality care. The ED leads and represents the portfolio in providing executive level contribution to strategic and operational planning for the organization and establishes and maintains a recognized strategic leadership knowledge for the portfolio. The ED supports the VP through regular participation at various internal and external leadership and governance committees related to the portfolio, providing expert advice and input to advance the goals of Northern Health. Subject to the guidance of general policies, strategic framework and broad directives from executive, the ED maintains significant autonomy, latitude for action and decision-making authority within the portfolio and is accountable for the results. p>
Starting salary will be approximately from $155,327 to $194,159 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
